Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Supported living combines a place to live with personalised support, helping adults manage a tenancy and build the skills and confidence to live as independently as possible — in their own home rather than an institutional setting.

We support adults aged 18 and over who need help to maintain a tenancy and live independently. We welcome referrals from local authorities, support services and partners, as well as self-referrals.

Use the contact form (or call us) with a few details about the person and their needs. We arrange a relaxed viewing, assess support needs, and confirm the outcome quickly. Where accommodation is available, move-in can be arranged promptly.

In supported living, rent and eligible housing costs are typically met through Housing Benefit, while the support element is usually commissioned or funded via the local authority following a needs assessment. Exact arrangements vary by individual, and there is no direct cost to residents for the support we provide.

There is no fixed end date — support is built around the individual. We focus on a planned, confident move-on when the time is right for that person. Most people stay with us between 12 and 24 months.

Get in touch and select “I’m a landlord”. We offer fully managed leases with rent paid, utilities and council tax handled, regular inspections and maintenance covered, and no agent or tenant-finding fees on a 3–5 year lease.
